One of the most famous river crossings on the historic Oregon Trail, The Three Island Crossing was used by pioneer travelers until 1869. A crossing reenactment sponsored by Glenns Ferry community takes place on the second Saturday of August. The park features a full-service campground, cabins, picnic areas, historical interpretive programs and an interpretive center.
